Special Shaped Bricks.

Specials - We Stock'em & We Make'em.

Currently . we' ve well over 15,000 special shaped bricks in stock. We usually keep a good selection of squints (popular for the corners in Conservatories) in blue, red & brown in 45 degrees, 30 & 60 degrees. We also cut & bond special shaped bricks - from most types of bricks. Page down to learn more.

External Angle Doglegs Cut & Bonded

The Corner Bricks here were made from Our Red Rustics.

From two bricks, we cut them and bond them back together to the angle you need. These 45 degree External Angle bricks shown on the corner here have one face the normal length of a long face (stretcher face) of a brick and the other face the length of a header (the end of a brick). The joint is there- but we've used special coloured epoxy to try and hide it. We can often do this in a few days - whereas some Brick Companies need 6 to 8 weeks.

Craig is a pretty sharp character & he knows his Health & Safety. He's one of the skilled cutters that have gone through our thorough training program to be able to produce special shaped bricks to meet your needs. Special Templates are produced here with the aim of making what you want with the least amount of visible joints.

We Stick Together.

Special Coloured Epoxy.

Having cut the bricks, we bond them with a thin joint of epoxy. Storage while they dry is on a special flat drying table and the angle is checked before sticking, during drying and when theyare ready for use.

We also stock Ready Made Specials (fired in a Kiln).

If you are in a real rush and can't wait a few days - we also have ready made specials in a range of standard colours. Actually they are popular because a contrasting brick used for the corners can produce a nice contrast. (We even have a special brick for using on any angle!)
